ASHACEL^® Ethylcellulose polymers are a range of organo-soluble thermoplastics used widely in pharmaceutical industry. ASHACEL^® polymers are one of the few polymers that are water insoluble but still approved for pharmaceutical use. ASHACEL^® products are essentially tasteless, odourless, colourless, non-caloric and physiologically inert. They form a tough film at low concentrations. Their physico-chemical properties make them versatile polymer and can be blended with other materials to achieve desired characteristics. This versatility enhances applicability of ASHACEL^® polymers.
